Warranty Policy
Coverage
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or faults resulting from:
– Misuse, abuse, or neglect
– Physical damage (including impact or liquid damage)
– Power surges, lightning, or electrical faults
– Improper installation or handling
– Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering
– Normal wear and tear
This warranty also excludes accessories, cables, packaging, and external components unless specifically stated.
Warranty Period
– Standard products: 5 years from date of purchase
– Mobile devices 2 years from date of purchase
Proof of purchase is required.
Eligibility
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Warranty Process
To submit a claim:
- Contact BFL with proof of purchase
- Provide a description of the issue (photos/videos may be requested)
- If required, return the product for assessment (RMA required)
Resolution
If a valid claim is confirmed, BFL may, at its discretion:
– Repair the product
– Replace the product with the same or a similar model
– Provide a refund, adjusted for usage and age
Shipping & Handling
– The customer is responsible for shipping the product to BFL
– Products must be securely packaged and insured during transit
– BFL will cover return shipping after repair or replacement
BFL is not responsible for damage or loss during inbound shipping.
Additional Limitations
BFL is not responsible for:
– Installation or removal costs
– Setup, configuration, or programming
– Any indirect or consequential losses
Legal
This warranty is subject to applicable South African consumer law.
Nothing in this policy limits rights provided under the Consumer Protection Act.
Warranty Void If
This warranty will be void if:
– The serial number has been removed or altered
– The product was not purchased from an authorized reseller
– The product has been tampered with or modified
Damage Reporting (Important)
Any physical damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
